Getting Settled
The first couple of days are complete and that was definitely going to be the hardest part. Now its all about getting used to the flow of things around here. I went to my first Gaelic futbol match last night, one of my host siblings was playing. It looks really fun, but also super difficult. I've also been having lots of fun with my room mate and my host siblings. We played monopoly twice and we also played some other games. When we went on a walk I met the horse in the picture. I really feel like this experience is already having an impact on me. Im not scared to speak up or talk to someone. 馃檪   Im trying on a uniform later today, but I already have my shoes, socks and white shirt. So once I do that I'll be ready for school (at least for my uniform). I'm meeting the principle of my school later tomorrow, so hopefully I'll get my schedule and supplies and feel a little more prepared for school in the upcoming week!
Update: Just a quick little update, but I got my uniform and I was also informed I am starting school bright and early tomorrow. So that's kind of a shock and I don't feel as prepared as I would like, but Im in it for the adventure and that's definitely what I'm getting. I'm meeting the principal at 9:30 tomorrow morning then I'll get my schedule and begin school. I'm feeling a little nervous about it all, but I'm hoping it will go great. I'm also looking forward to meeting new people maybe making some friends and really starting a routine.
